Creatrix of Mind Flowers

Mind Flowers is a personal art project containing sculptures, kaleidoscopic and colourful fine art prints, the best incense I have ever found from Nepal and reflections from my journey through my mind and other dreams.

My work emerges as a source of my own psyche's deeper longings. It is a journey toward the unconscious, where beauty, diversity, and mystery intertwine, invoking wonder and the primordial urge to connect. Through my art, I try to offer a glimpse into the unknown, a bridge between the internal and external worlds.

Sculptures

The sculptures presented here are one-of-a-kind creations, crafted with care and intention. Made primarily from clay, and occasionally from porcelain, each piece undergoes a meticulous three-stage firing process: first, raw, then to allow the growth of crystals, and finally, finished with a delicate layer of 24ct gold. The soapstone bases upon which the sculptures rest are personally carved and polished by me, ensuring each piece has a unique foundation. To complete the work, I add a gentle touch—using cords, bows, and laces—to elevate the sculptural form and give it a final, thoughtful refinement.

Each sculpture is born from a place of profound emotional exploration, formed with the intention of being discovered by that one soul who resonates with its essence. In their quiet presence, I believe they offer the gentlest form of art, one that speaks directly to the heart.

Art Prints

There is a particular allure in kaleidoscopes, their infinite shapes and colors spinning like fragments of reality itself. Their endless patterns just seem to encapsulate both the shadowed and the soft, pastel dimensions of reality in the most accurate way. The ever-changing dance of forms and shapes becomes a quiet echo of the infinite possibilities that exist just beneath the surface of perception. It's as though these fragments of patterns remind us, in their subtle way, of the vastness that surrounds us and the mysterious beauty we've all been cast into.

The prints I offer here are attempts to capture that elusive rapture, to create windows into a world that is both mesmerizing and strange. Playing with perception and reception.

Incense

The Nepali incense offered is handmade by the temple women of Nepal, who craft each stick with quiet reverence. Through their hands, ancient traditions come to life, as simple ingredients are transformed into a fragrant offering that carries the spirit of their land.

As the incense burns, it fills the air with a gentle serenity, connecting you to your own divine energy. A quiet reminder of the sacredness in life's smallest moments, offering a space for reflection, insight and retreat.

Reflections

There exists within each of us a world unseen, a realm where gods whisper and the mind fractures, where healing is not a linear path but a descent into darkness and chaos. My reflections are born from this space, where myth and madness intertwine. Writing about how losing my mind was the necessary prelude to finding and learning the language of my own soul.

Texts about wounds left by forgotten gods, the sickness of modernity, and the archetypal forces that seek expression through dreams and symbols. This is the mythological terrain of my self-exploration, where the broken self is both the wound and the healer, the exile and the return.

Centina Alexa

I taught myself to sculpt in the quiet hours, shaping clay and stone with the weight of everything I’ve seen and felt. The world can be harsh, beautiful, and achingly fleeting, and I’ve carried those truths into my work. Each sculpture is my way of giving life to what words can’t touch—a fragment of soul, a whisper of something lost, a moment of stillness in a restless world. This is how I make sense of it all, and how I hope to leave a piece of meaning behind.
